Website The work in Portland, Texas Continues What amazing devastation in
Port Aransas, Rockport, Fulton and so many other communities near here that
took the force of the wind where Harvey made landfall. Here’s what’s
been done by the volunteers that have come to Portland, Texas 109 Houses finished
taking out sheetrock, flooring, personal goods and cutting and removing trees
that were down blocking access. 23 work orders pending for same type of work,
95 yet to call back and assess. The relief center has processed 444 families
as of today, that includes food, hygiene items, infant care, cleaning supplies
and basic tools given to them – wheel barrows, rakes, shovels, brooms and
mops. The total number of volunteers that have reported in and worked at
this site has reached 378 plus local members. As of now over 1,000 full dinners
have been served to residents of the devastated communities out of our mobile
kitchen.

homes of 1st responders who put their own homes on hold so they could help
